Kumho introduces new luxury touring tire ECSTA LX Platinum
Kumho’s new ECSTA LX Platinum tire is the perfect choice for luxury touring and sport sedans. The tire features an asymmetrical tread design, three dimensional waffle sipes, a jointless nylon cap ply, and a 60,000-mile limited tread wear warranty. The tire includes a UTQG rating of 600 A A, and will be available in H, V and W speed ratings.
All of these features combine to provide a tire with best-in-class attributes, with exceptional mileage, outstanding ride comfort, low noise levels, exceptional snow traction and outstanding dry and wet handling. The LX will include two run-flat sizes.
The LX is aimed squarely at the following vehicles: BMW 3 and 5 Series, Mercedes C, D, E and S Class, Accord V6, Cadillac CTS and CTS-V, Audi A4 and A6, Infiniti G35, M35 and Q, Lexus IS, GS and LS, Nissan Maxima, Acura RL and TL, and the Lincoln MKZ and Town Car.
